Selfcare for arthritic changes in knee joint

Knee Osteoarthritis natural home remedy suggestions: 



1. Fomentation therapy + Sesame oil application regularly (https://swaadhin-health.blogspot.com/2024/12/fomentation-therapy-procedure.html)

2. Specific yoga asana like contracting & releasing the knee - to be added with regular Yog / Pranayam

3. Liquid diet during the day - twice a week, if possible. Have fresh juice/ coconut water/soup etc. for first few hours of the day, as possible. 

4. Use Acupressure roller for therapy and exercising the muscles 

5. Apply juice of ginger on the knees

6. Avoid sedentary lifestyle, sitting for long hours - Move.

7. Around 30 min of sunshine a day shall be good 


  • Add these therapies one by one. 
  • Record your observations. 
  • Review from time to time and update treatment, as needed.
