Winter Self-care - List of 50 foods

Winters are a lovely season where one gets time to nourish & rest, body & mind as needed. However, overdoing these is called laziness 😊 and not recommended. Weight gain is possible during winters, if one makes mistakes. Winter special food items are delicious and good-to-have during this season. Suggestions below are vegetarian and might be more relatable to an Indian culture upbringing. Tasty salad dish

  This post is about a healthy side-dish, as experimented, during Diwali festive season of 2023. I have named it as 'Dahi poha salad' (Curd, Rice-flakes salad). It's simply a raw mix of ingredients like curd, rice flakes, salad, green chutney, amla, dry fruits, nuts & seeds etc. Use quantities in proper ratios as suitable , add salt , black pepper and spices as needed. Stir curd rigorously for couple of minutes, add little water, during the process. Add rice flakes or poha, mix well. Keep adding other ingredients one by one and mix with curd. You have the flexibility to choose your healthy add-ons (which go along well), in this mixture. Namkeen or savory can be added in little quantity as a topping for crunchy & spicy taste, if required. 5 reasons why it seems like a better replacement option:- 1.
