'Jeera' water is cooling and might be helpful to combat summer heat. When 'Pitta dosha' is high or regular issues of acidity, constipation etc. exist, one can try below suggested preparation for few days & observe:- Boil a glass of water with 1 tspoon cumin seeds ('jeera'), until it becomes half. ( While giving to small kids, make smaller preparation like around half in quantity .) Let the preparation cool down for few minutes, then use it for consumption. Take this jeera water, sip by sip, throughout the day, when feeling thirsty. For maximum benefit, use plain , room temperature preparation, 2-3 times per day. If one prefers to have it like a cup of herbal tea - some 'mishri' (sugar candy), a pinch of cardamom powder can be added in the mix.
