Sweet Dessert first

  'Ayurveda recommends eating sweet tasting food, first' Sweet is the food of brain and nervous system. It is also the preferred food of Stomach. Sweet provides instant energy, hence when someone is sick & weak, glucose is suggested to be given, at a priority. The readily usable energy of sweet food, makes the brain and stomach ready for digestion. That's why after eating sweet, one feels like eating more. This is also good reason, why sweets must not be eaten towards the end of meal. 'There is always extra space for desserts', as some would say and that's what happens. After eating sweet when already stomach-full, one ends up eating extra. Hence, try to shift the priority, eat sweet as first thing in the morning or first from your meal plate. Color therapy application - responses to queries

Prash: Do we only apply colour or press that point as well? Swaadhin Org: You can press 4-5 times before applying color, that's it. The point can be applied for multiple hours, 1-3 times a day works fine. You may use a matchstick or pen or Acupressure tool to apply little pressure, for additional benefit. Healthcare Suggestion on Water intake

Water intake discussion on Swaadhin Wellness group:  Madhur: Water intake to be balanced , as per requirement of body , which may differ for different patients, in a wholistic approach. Generally around 3 liters of water is okay. It's a myth that too much water intake is always good for health , especially for kidney disease, as per natural healthcare science. Please remember, when you drink more water , work of kidney is increasing too. This may be needed for short term , in some cases but not a long term recommendation.

Conversation on early diagnosis of Diabetes

Prashant: Actually till now I thought either I would have diabetes or I would not. But this video is a real eye-opener. I mean we all know overnight we don't get diabetes but this doc and the video shows how we earn this disease. It's how insulin keeps trying to keep sugar in the blood low. With every passing day it's more insulin that the pancreas produce and one fine day the pancreas give up and then there is no control on sugar level. Patient Stories - Tooth healing

  Tooth healing - self treatment 2 days back, while having dinner, some fiber like small piece of food, got stuck in my lower premolar tooth, which has had some structural gap. It started paining and the gums were swollen in few minutes. The pain grew in sometime and became difficult to bear - that nerve like pain of tooth system. Those who have experienced it, know what I mean, yeah - that tooth trouble which keeps one awake in the night. I did natural care and Acupressure therapy. It allowed me to sleep for few hours until I woke up, felt the pain and did therapy again. There was some improvement next day but still enough pain and swelling to keep one mindful. I continued the treatment for another day. Today, I felt quite okay and felt very little gum trouble. I decided to go for my regular lunch of 'chapati-sabzi' and could do so comfortably.
